Is the original media returned to me?

Yes! All of your tapes are safely returned after we digitize them. We treat your memories with care every step of the way.

Can you fix broken tapes?

Absolutely. We offer $15 tape repairs (like broken casing or snapped film). If your tape needs extensive restoration, we’ll let you know before proceeding.

How long does the transfer process take?

Most orders are completed within 2–3 weeks after we receive your media. Larger or more complex orders may take a bit longer.

Is the video quality improved during the transfer?

We digitize in high quality and do light correction to optimize playback, but we don’t offer full restoration (like frame-by-frame remastering). What you see is a faithful transfer of the original.

Are my tapes safe in the mail?

Yes, these media formats especially with casing are very durable and safe to ship.

What if I only have a few tapes?

What digital format will I receive?

You'll receive high-quality MP3 files. WAV files are also available upon request. All files are easy to play, download, and share.

Can you separate individual tracks?

Yes, we can separate songs or recordings into individual tracks if clearly distinguishable. It is a 15$ edit request add-on. Otherwise, tapes are digitized as continuous files by default.

Will the audio be cleaned up or enhanced?

We apply light audio cleanup—like noise reduction or level balancing for clarity. Full audio restoration is not included but may be available on request.

Do you return the original tapes?

Yes, all original audio tapes and reels are safely returned along with your digital files.

We scan printed photos (3x3 to 8x10), 35mm slides, and film negatives (35mm and medium format). If you're unsure what you have, feel free to contact us — we’re happy to help you identify them

What resolution do you scan at?

Our standard scans are done at 300 DPI — great for viewing and sharing. For enlargements or archiving, we offer high-resolution scanning up to 2400 DPI or even 4800 DPI for slides and negatives.

Can I mix photos, slides, and negatives in one order?

Absolutely! We handle all image formats. Just separate them by type and label them if possible. Each item will be scanned and delivered digitally in its own organized folder.

Will my photos be cropped or edited?
