Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know before placing your order.
General
Are my originals returned to me?
Yes — always. Every original tape, reel, photo, or slide is safely returned to you along with your digital files. Returning your originals is guaranteed, not optional.
How do I receive my digital files?
You'll receive a secure private download link by email as soon as your order is complete. No account or app required — just click the link and your files are there. A USB drive can also be added to any order for an additional fee.
Is there a minimum order requirement?
No minimum order. You can order a single item or dozens — order exactly what you need.
Can I preview my files before receiving them?
Yes. Your private download folder is accessible as soon as we send the link, so you can view and download your files immediately — no account or sign-in needed.
Can you repair broken or damaged media?
Yes. Basic repairs — such as a broken casing or snapped tape — are available as a $15 add-on. We'll always contact you first if the damage is extensive.
Is it safe to ship my media?
Yes. Most tape and film formats are quite durable in their casings and ship safely with standard packaging. We recommend padding fragile items like film reels. Memory Kit orders include packaging materials.
