John Heinen

Founder of A440 Studios in 1996, John is a producer, engineer, artist, and musician with decades in the music industry. He has worked with countless local and regional artists in Minnesota, as well as major acts like Neil Young, Bonnie Raitt, and Shinedown. Partnering with editor and director Nick Nichols, he has contributed to thousands of hours of high-quality video content, including films, live promotional music videos, and concept videos. Beyond his technical expertise, he thrives on building meaningful connections with clients, always driven by a passion for helping others.

Nick Nichols

Nick Nichols is a veteran producer and director with over 20 years in audio and video production. As co-founder of A440 Studios, he has worked with artists like Bob Dylan and Alicia Keys, specializing in live music video production, multi-camera shoots, and expert audio mixing. Skilled in Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DaVinci Resolve, he has earned industry recognition, including the "Video of the Year Award." Based in Minneapolis since 1997, Nick continues to create high-quality, engaging multimedia content.

Dag Heinen

Dag Heinen grew up immersed in the music industry, spending his early years in a studio where he developed a deep appreciation for creativity and technology. Working in music production from a young age, he gained hands-on experience in audio engineering and live production. Later, he pursued his passion for technology by earning a degree in Computer Science. Since then, Dag has leveraged his technical expertise to co-found and contribute to multiple startups, using his skills in web development, blockchain, and software engineering to drive innovation and success.
